REVIEW: ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS CONTOUR KIT

Anastasia- The Queen of eyebrows! Her products such as the Dipbrow Pomade are referred to as the "holy grail eyebrow product"and it's true. Just recently, I purchased a custom made Contour and Highlight kit and it is DIVINE. I knew it would be an amazing product because so much effort was put into creating these gorgeous powders-just check our Norvina and Anastasia's instagram. Every skin type and undertone is accounted for and you can choose from a broad range of shadows. There are 'suggested shades' for light to deep skins so if you're indecisive then there are already colours picked out for you!
When you go ahead and build your kit, it is forty dollars (such an amazing price!) for 6 single contour/highlight refills which are three grams each-which, in my opinion is a generous amount.

I purchased my own custom made palette and chose these six shades:

TOP ROW: HIGHLIGHTING SHADES (LEFT TO RIGHT): GOLDEN PEACH, SANDSTONE, CHAMPAGNE
BOTTOM ROW: CONTOUR SHADES (LEFT TO RIGHT): CAROB, CINNAMON, ESPRESSO

PIGMENTATION: 9/10.

Swatched: CAROB, CINNAMON AND ESPRESSO- all MATTE. Perfect for sculpting your face.

Swatched: GOLDEN PEACH, SANDSTONE, CHAMPAGNE

STAY TIME: 7.5/10
Without a primer, after 6-7 hours it starts to fade (this is on MY skin, it could be different on yours) but when I use a primer, it stays on alllll day. The highlighting shade 'Champagne' disappointed me the most. It isn't as pigmented and doesn't show on the skin well. Compared to the other awesome highlighters on the market, this isn't anything special.

APPLICATION: 9/10
 Goes on smoothly, darker colours require a heavier hand to blend. Overall, every colour I have blends well leaving no patchy, dark spots.

Magnetic single pan

VARIETY OF SHADES: 10/10
Caters to very pale to very deep skin. Undertones are considered too! This is great for any makeup artist because they literally have an entire list of colours for every skin type, tone and colour to choose from.

PACKAGING: 7/10
I wish a mirror was included in this! There is so much space on this large palette...I seriously hate it so much. That's the one thing that bothered me the most. WHERE IS THE MIRROR? Other than that, the packaging is very sturdy and magnetic so it makes it ideal for travelling makeup artists.

The single pans pop right into the palette and are easy to remove.

Front of palette. Very simple and clean. I love it! The palette closes magnetically.

Palette comes in a cardboard case. Not that sturdy and took so long to take out...

PRICE: $14 for ONE single pan OR 6x single pans in a bundle is 40 dollars plus 20 dollars shipping to Australia. 60 dollars=10 dollars for each pan. Worth it? YES! You get a lot of product in each pan and the insane amount of pigment in these babies mean it'll last you a long time.
