Mastering winged liner: My 5 tips

Products used:
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow in Chocolate
Eyes: Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and Australis Liquid Eyeliner

My tips for mastering winged liner:

1. Get to know your eye shape- sit down and have a play around with different wing shapes and length. Trial and error! It took me almost an entire year to perfect my wing and even now I struggle sometimes.

2. Choose your product- gel or liquid? Invest in a really good eyeliner because there's nothing worse than working with dry eyeliner. Starting off with a thick felt tip eyeliner is best if you have no idea what you're doing. Work your way up to the thinnest of eyeliner applicators! I personally love gel eyeliner more than liquid.

3. Lean your elbows on a table- it'll give you more steadiness and will aid in giving you that perfect wing.

4. Go slow! It may help to map out your liner first by dots, then using that as a guide to drawing in your wing. Imagine your wing as a scalene triangle and get in a comfortable position.

5. Fill in your brows first. By doing this you can use the very end of your brow tail as a guide. It helps to imagine drawing your wing towards the end of the brow. It'll give your liner balance and really aid in making your wings even.

Good luck!
